Hello, Our names are Patricia and Patrick Trefun, otherwise known as Pat I & Pat II (stop by and ask us why). I am the visionary diva with all of the ideas. Patrick is the brains (he’s a CPA) and the brawn of the operation.

We moved from South Bend to Shelby County in 1987 when Patrick’s job was transferred to Indy. I have been a stay-at-home mom all this time raising 5 kids. (Who probably would say my ‘job’ was shopping!) With the youngest one to graduate from high school this year, for some reason I figured I needed more to do. So here we are starting our own business.

Patrick works for National Wine & Sprirts. He is an avid runner and a die-hard Notre Dame fan. In addition to Rendezvous, I am member of the Shelby County Fair Board, a member of the Southwestern School Board; treasurer of the Mystery Pals homemakers club, officer in the Shelby County Extension Homemakers organization, a member of the Mainstreet Shelbyville and a member of the Shelby County Chamber of commerce. Pat and I also belong to the Waldron United Methodist Church.

In addition to us, we’ve gotten several of our kids to help out with this business.

Kimberly (the youngest) and Chris (the middle child) help out with painting and decorating the Hall. Doug (between Kim and Chris) helped Pat out sorting out the plumbing… he had a lot of fun. Paula (the oldest) designed the website and has helped out with planning. Scott (Chris’s hubby) and Richard (Paula’s boyfriend) have also helped us out with demolition and drywall among other things. Richard & Paula also helped out with the marketing materials for Rendezvous.

I may seem busy but, no, I’m not crazy, just ready for a little fun and excitement. I’m ready to rent you the hall and maybe also cater your function. I’m sure it will be an experience you will long remember.

Drop by and see me during the week. If you come on the weekend you might see the Mr. He will be the one fixing something… or if he is not here, he is home mowing some of the 5 acres of lawn we have.
