Rental Info - Rules
- Rendezvous Hall is a Non-Smoking Facility. Smoking is not allowed on the premises at
any time! Penalty for smoking on the premesis WILL result in forfeiture of your deposit!
- Trash - You will be responsible to collect the trash after your event. Disposal of 2
bags of trash is included in the price of your rental. All additional bags of trash that
Rendezvous Hall must dispose of will incure a $2.00 each.
- You can not sub-lease the Rendezvous Hall, charge admission or otherwise use the Hall
for any money-making venture
- Serving of Alcohol is strictly prohibited! Serving
of Alcohol at any event WILL result in
forfeiture of your deposit!
- Cancellations require a 30 day notice to get a full refund. Cancellations of less than
30 days or cancellations of catered events will be handled at the
discression of Rendezvous Hall.
- Decorations must be free standing and removed after the event. You can not use tape,
nails, push pins or staples to attach decorations to any fixture in the Hall. Confetti
is not permitted.
- Hall rental should include time for setup and cleanup. This time should be scheduled
as part of your event. As long as the Hall is available, additional time will be
billed at the hourly rate.
- You must abide by all noise ordinances in effect for the City of Shelbyville.
- Teenage Events where the primary participants are under the age 19, are required to have
3 chaperones with an additional chaperone for every 15 participants over 30 in
attendance.
- Cleaning of the Hall is required at the conclusion of your event. This includes wiping
down the tables and chairs and returning them to their designated location, gathering trash,
removing all decorations and sweeping the floors.
Failure to do so could result in forfeiture of a portion of your deposit for cleaning
expenses
- Lost and Found. Any items left in the premises after the event will be held for 30 days.
If unclaimed after 30 days, any and all items will become the property of Rendezvous Hall.
